Molecule 04 consists of Javanol, pure and singular. Javanol is a sandalwood-type molecule that retains the radiance and endurance of natural sandalwood but is sheer and transparent like no sandalwood in nature. Javanol does not exist in nature and was created in a laboratory at Givaudan in 1996. Javanol, in Molecule 04 100ml, oozes with clarity and spaciousness in an immersive experience that speaks to all five senses. "What I love about Javanol is its almost psychedelic freshness. It smells as if liquid grapefruit peel were poured over a bed of velvety cream-coloured roses," says perfumer Geza Schoen. Fragrances in our Molecule line are ultra-minimalist, containing just one aroma-molecule. "We are bombarded with technology and information; it has become an addiction, something that was once seductive but is now controlling us. The result is that we are starting to appreciate things that detangle the complexities of our lives. We are starting to value minimalism in a new, deeper way," adds Geza Schoen.
